IRTIQA: Advancing gender equality in the workplace

The Irtiqa programme, a flagship initiative by NAMA, is dedicated to promoting gender equality in the workplace and advancing women’s empowerment through strategic business practices. The programme focuses on building the business case for women’s empowerment and aligning organizations with gender equitable principles.

Irtiqa is organized around three primary workstreams:

Building business capacity

Equip businesses with the tools and knowledge to assess and improve gender equality outcomes within their organizations.

Raising awareness and expanding knowledge

Promote the benefits of inclusion and diversity in the workplace, creating greater awareness of their positive impact on organizational success.

Supporting advocacy and stakeholder engagement

Drive advocacy efforts and facilitate collaboration among stakeholders to increase women’s participation in business, communities, and economies.
