We held several high-level panel discussions and engaged in impact-driven talks at the Women's Pavilion in EXPO 2020 with a wide range of stakeholders, partners, policymakers, and international and grassroots organizations to build more inclusive and equitable societies through women's socioeconomic advancement.

About

October 13th, 2021 - in collaboration with Pearl Initiative, we organized a high-level panel discussion at the Women’s Pavilion at Expo to explore ways of championing diversity in the workplace and increasing the number of women in leadership positions. The event brought together key private and public sector decision-makers and leaders to share solutions, ideas, and best practices that can drive concrete progress in closing gender gaps within organizations.


November 16th, 2021 - We organized a session entitled “Is Gender Budgeting the Solution to Inclusion?” The session brought together experts and decision-makers from the public and private sectors to share experiences and best practices on gender-responsive budgeting, who exchanged views on how to embed this process in different organisational structures in the region.


December 8th, 2021 - In collaboration with Memac Oglivy, we held an interactive workshop, under the name “Breaking Biases in Communication”, which tackled common issues stemming from power-imbalances in the media industry.


January 18th, 2022 - In association with the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women), we shared best practices and insights with the private and public sectors on how to integrate gender-responsive procurement within organizations and supply women's businesses with more connections and opportunities during a session entitled “Gender-Responsive procurement as a transformative strategy to achieve Global Sustainable Development Goals.”
